Pain Perdu The album that got me into FM in the first place. Thanks for the rec Chibi-tech! Fantastic prog composition, stellar sound design, and a window to PC98 gems for us unlucky westerners Favorite track: 迷い / Hesitation.

Raphael Goulart I can say I really love a lot of the songs in this album, it has a lot of the happy chip pop songs I love so much, so well constructed and with so many beautiful melodies and progressions.
My favorites are Aiselia's Past and Ending - I love how they vary their mood throughout the song, and I love the 'heavy metal-esque' part on Ending
I must say coda and surasshu did a GREAT job on this. I've been listening to this for several hours.
Also, I'd love to have the modules for this ;) ;) Favorite track: エンディング ~ スルー・ザ・アトモスフィア / Ending: Through the Atmosphere.

about

Tree of Knowledge is an album of original FM chiptunes in the style of Sega Genesis adventure games, 90's anime, and PC-98 visual novels. The concept is presented as a soundtrack to a fictional game, with character themes, opening and ending credits, and dramatic scenes.
